August 13 I'm back! I'm back, more than one year after i wrote the last piece.
BECause i really begin to miss something , especially the state when i learn to express myself in the foreign language. It's interesting and full of challenges, which makes me eager to do something and really do something in the spare times.
Recently, I find myself getting into trouble again. Nothing gives me more pleasure than finding a way from dream to reality. Maybe the books can.

You may not be able to control the times, but you can compose your responses.
You can turn your pain into profanity--,or into poetry. The choice is up to you.
The positive solution to a problem may require the courage to initiate it.
When you control your reaction to the seemingly uncontrollable problems of life,
In fact you control the problems's effect on you.
Your reaction to the problem is the last word. That's the bottom line!
It can make you tender or tough.
It can make you better or bitter.
It all depends on you. July 31 七夕... ? Chinese Valentine's day ? Raise your head and gaze at the stars
something romantic is going on in the sky.
the seventh day of the seventh lunar month Valentine's day in china
he and she will meet on a bridge of magpie
across the milky way
Grannies will remind children
no magpies would be seen on that evening
because all of them have left to form a bridge
in the heavens with their wings.

Chinese people believe that the star vega(织女星), east of the milky way, is zhi nu and, at the constellation of aquila(天鹰座), on the western side of the milky way, niu lang waits for his wife. Zhi nu was said to be the youngest of seven daughters of the queen of heaven. with her sisters, she worked hard to weave beautiful clouds in the sky, while niu lang was a poor orphan cowherd, driven out of his home by his elder brother and his cruel wife. niu lang lamented over his lonely and poor life with an old cow, his only friend and companion. the magical cow kindly told him of a way to find a beautiful and nice woman as his life companion.
Under the direction of the cow, niu lang went to the riverside on an evening, where the seven fairies slipped out of their heavenly palace to bathe. he took one of the beautiful silk dresses the fairies had left on the bank. when the fairies left the water, the youngest couldn't find her clothes and had to see her sisters fly back to heaven without her. then niu lang came out with the dress and asked the youngest fairy, zhi nu, to stay with him. everal years passed on earth, which were only a few days in heaven. niu lang and zhi nu lived happily together and had two children before the queen of heaven discovered zhi nu's absence. She was so annoyed she had zhi nu brought back to heaven. seeing his beloved wife flying in the sky, niu lang was terrified. he caught sight of the cowhide hanging on a wall. the magical cow had told him before dying of old age: "keep the cowhide(牛皮) for emergency use." putting the cowhide on, he went after his wife with his two children. with the help of the cowhide, niu lang was able to follow zhi nu into heaven. he was about to reach his wife when the queen showed up and pulled off her hairpin to draw a line between the two. the line became the silver river in heaven, or the milky way. Zhi nu went back to the heavenly workshop, going on weaving the clouds. but she was so sad, and missed her husband across the silver river so much that the clouds she weaved seemed sad. finally, the queen showed a little mercy, allowing the couple to meet once every year on the silver river.

Thu Jan 26, 2006 By Jeremy Lovell LONDON (Reuters)
Li Yuchun, a music student who won China's equivalent of "American Idol", is still baffled by
the change her superstar status has brought.
The 21-yearold tomboy from Sichuan was catapulted from obscurity last August after winning
"Super Girls," the hugely popular televised pop talent contest.
An audience estimated at up to 400 million people tuned in to the three hour final, and 3.5 million voted for Li by text.
(显然英国人没弄清楚投票规则) "There is a very big change from the life of a student to this," said the tall, thin Li, who is in London briefly to open celebrations for Chinese New Year.
“这对我的学生生活来说是一个巨大的转变”高高瘦瘦的李说。她此次来伦敦主要是来参加中国年庆祝活动的开幕式。
"I still keep in touch with my friends, but my schedule is so busy that I don't get much time to myself at all," she told Reuters.
“我仍然和我的朋友们保持联系,但我的日程安排太满了,以致我现在根本没什么个人时间。”她对路透社记者说。 It was not as though Li, who described her main music college subject as "pop singing", intentionally used the contest as a career springboard.
"I only entered it to keep a friend of mine company," she said, speaking through an
interpreter.
“我只是陪一个朋友去比赛”她通过一个翻译说。 Never having left China, and barely her home province, before winning the contest, Li now finds her image plastered across advertising billboards and magazines everywhere.
Accusations by her critics that she has a mediocre voice with a talent to match cut no ice with her legion of fans who mob her every appearance.
Asked if she welcomed the apparent encroachment of American pop culture into China she
replied that it was not something she had ever thought about.
"I have never considered questions like this. It was a contest. I love singing and I entered
it," she said with a shrug. 。
“我从来不考虑这样的问题。这只是一场比赛而已。我喜欢唱歌所以我参加了”她耸耸肩说。
And what of her plans for the future?
"I have no long term plans. But I have already released a single and this year I will release
my first album," Li said. "My record company hired producers to write songs for me this time,
but in future I hope to write my own songs."
“我没有什么长期的计划。但我已经发行了一首单曲,而且今年我会发行自己的第一张专辑。”李说。“我的唱片公司这次是雇制作人为我写歌的,但我希望将来自己能够写自己的歌。”
If her millions of fans cannot wait for her album to appear they will soon have a token to tide them over when the China National Philatelic Corporation this week issues a postage stamp
bearing her image -- a first for a mainland Chinese pop star.
"I am very happy and delighted," Li said. "It will make me feel very close to my fans." “我非常开心”李说。“这让我觉得和‘玉米’们异常亲近。” January 30 Make a promise and live up to itAs you are Chris Lee

When it comes to news reporter, people may say oh that's a thrilling job, such as those war correspondents. That's great. I am a green hand and have not achieved something great. But my experience has taught me a lesson that no matter what I do, work with LOVE. I would like quote the most cited line of Hamlet, William Shakespeare-to be or not to be that is the question. To me, it is to be or not to be, that is not the question. If to be, work with love.
What is love? I wonder. My mother prepares breakfast for me every morning and waits me for dinner every evening. That is mother's love. I take great pride when I witness the development of this city. I love my hometown. I feel a great affinity when I interview people from all walks of life. I love this land and the people on this land. I love my work. It makes me survive and be economically independent. The more important is that it is my career. I cherish it and devote myself to it. Working with love, that is why I could work continuously for 24 hours, and why I am happy with my life even I have few holidays, let alone weekends.
I love my work with a brave heart. I will never forget the typhoon Yunna attack Hangzhou last year. At that pitch black night, most people stayed at home. The city seemed empty. However, as a news reporter, it was my duty to follow the trail of typhoon and catch every possible piece of information to make citizens feel assured. To be frank, I was scared at that moment. There is a scar on my forehead, it was because of a typhoon hit Hangzhou when I was 8 years old. It was a real challenge for me. Blood, disability, even death...ran through my mind. Duty, honor and professional ethic...made me determined to take the challenge. The typhoon left Hangzhou without causing much damage. I went to farms in the villages nearby to interview. Thanks to good preparations, farmers didn't suffer much loss. Recalling my last 24 hours--writing news script, running to meteorology bureau, going to accident sites, I was worn out at that moment but was encouraged. I felt I was part of the main, my efforts were helpful to the society.
Brave heart is obviously not enough. As a news reporter, I love my work with clear eyes. Just 3 days ago, a message went like a bomb in the crowd. Some departments stores announced a super discount which aroused an unprecedented shopping rush in this city. I am one of the rush, while as a reporter, I told myself to calm down and try to see something through the surface. What will happen after this fever? Who is the true winner during this competition? To my surprise, most managers of the stores express their worry about the rush. They say they are forced to do that because others do. And exports also alarm that the deadline of this game is 300RMB with 120RMB return, otherwise it will destroy the lasting consuming power of the city. If my reporting work can make the audience to see something more clearly, that’s my pleasure.
Brave heart and clear eyes make a good reporter or more exactly a reporting machine. I love my work with a caring mind. Yes, I care. I care about my interviewee's status. I feel sad when they are in trouble; I am glad when I know that they have get out of the trouble. Once I interviewed somebody in a hospital, a girl who was crying at the corner called my attention. She told me that her father got leukaemia and mom was just hurt badly in an accident, it’s totally impossible for her to pay the bill. I made her story into several pieces of news, not only for the sympathy to her family but also felt accountable to care about, how can a fragile countryside family survive in such serious illness? And what will be improved in our present social helping system? Later, I got an encouraging answer from the government and a grateful letter from the girl. It’s the best gift for a reporter. When you show more love to the society, you will find more return.
Brave heart, clear eyes and caring mind, all make me fall in love with my work. It is my career, it is part of my life.
At the end of my speech, I'd like to cite several lines by the poet Gibran—— All knowledge is vain save when there is work; All work is empty save when there is love, When you work with love, You bind yourself to yourself, and to one another, and to God.

China's second man space mission is thrust into the orbit from the Gobi desert. “ I’m feeling good. ” The first words after the launch of Fei junlong , one of the two men on board. He and Nie Haisheng are due to be in orbit for nearly five days.
I think that a manned program is so fraught with danger. And we should recognize the courage involve for both these astronauts as they go up, that from a military perspective manned programs really are not so much a threat as they are , really a statement on human courage.
The launch was broadcast live on national television, that is a big difference from the secrecy they used to surround the space program.
Beijing residents watched anxiously, some even took the day off work , so they could witness the historic moment like Mr. liu. This construction worker says , I’m feeling really emotional, I feel like this is proud moment not only for China but for Chinese people all over the world and for humankind. Analysts say the new openness signals a growing confidence in the progress of the space program.
China is only the third nation to put humans in space. Its leadership says the motives are scientific and peaceful. we wish to work together with the people of the world to advance the use of space for peaceful purpose. The Chinese space program has long term ambitions. As China is looking at putting a space station in orbit very soon. I think they will do that. They want the presence on the moon and also I believe they are looking at putting a red flag on the red planet body in 20,maybe 2025. The mission of Shenzhou 6 is another small step toward that goal.
October 07 Come on, my tomboy! On October 3rd, Li yuchun, the girl who got more than 3.5 million votes to win the 2005 Super Girls' Voice, rushed into our view again on the coverl of TIME, as one of Asia's Heros.Suddenly, so many people made comments on this issue. For YUMI(corn in Chinese, the nick name of Yuchun's fan),this news can't not be better, while the crowd dislike her scolded again and again. The angel or the devil? It seemed like some endless controvert.OK, keep quiet, let's see why Time chose her?
Li Yuchun Loved for Being Herself BY Susan Jakes Monday, Oct. 03, 2005 Chinese showbiz rarely produces icons. Sure, there are the dozen or so movie actors who can carry a film, and the odd rocker who fills a stadium. But seldom does a face on China's small screen really stand out. Even singing, the national pastime and TV staple, seems reserved for an interchangeable lineup of warbling coquettes, husky crooners and jolly fellows in brass stars and epaulets belting out odes to red flags. Which helps explain how a 21-year-old Sichuanese music student named Li Yuchun has become one of the most popular figures in China. In August, Li won a televised American Idol-like singing contest produced by Hunan province's Entertainment Channel and bearing its own inimitable name: "Mongolian Cow Sour Yogurt Super Girl's Voice." (Its sponsor makes yogurt.) The show drew the largest audiences in the history of Chinese television. As the competition narrowed, the media covered it like a war or the O.J. Simpson trial. By the time the finale aired, some 400 million people were tuning in. The Li Yuchun phenomenon, however, goes far beyond her voice, which even the most ardent fans admit is pretty weak: her vocal range drifts between Cher territory and that place your little brother's voice went the summer before seventh grade. As a dancer, she's not much better. Hei Nan, one of the event's judges, told the Guangzhou Daily that Li was "the worst of the top six in terms of singing skills," but noted that she garnered the most audience votes. What Li did possess was attitude, originality and a proud androgyny that defied Chinese norms. During the tryouts—in which 150,000 contestants were winnowed to 15—Li wore loose jeans and a black button-down shirt, with no make-up and the haircut (and body) of David Bowie during his Space Oddity phase. She auditioned with In My Heart There's Only You, Never Her, an oldie made famous by Taiwan's Liu Wenzheng—a man. In the main competition she sang other songs written for male performers and called herself "a tomboy." For an audience reared on the bubble-gum, lip-gloss standards of Chinese girl pop, Li's disregard for the rule book produced an unfamiliar knee-weakening. Her fans wept openly and frantically shrieked when Li took the stage. The show ruffled feathers among Beijing's commissars. By the final episode, Li and her two remaining rivals had switched their repertoire to patriotic folk songs. Li's victory was unusual in other ways: like American Idol, but unlike China itself, "Super Girl's Voice" is run democratically. Eight million SMS votes flooded in on the night of the finale. For a few weeks after, the mainland press debated the relevance of this format. "Only something that smashes social norms could elicit such a response," Yu Guoming, a media expert at People's University, told the Beijing News. "After all, in China the opportunities to use votes to choose are relatively few." An editorial in the China Daily wondered: "How come an imitation of a democratic system ends up selecting the singer who has the least ability to carry a tune?" As Li prepares for a nationwide tour with the other finalists, her handlers are loath to discuss the political dimensions of the program or of Li's triumph. Hunan Entertainment Channel refused TIME's requests to interview or photograph Li. According to one of her many agents, they were worried the story would portray Li as more than just an entertainer. But she is more: Li represents unabashed individuality, and that's why she's a national icon.
September 28 Holiday with “the Myth”Today is holiday, but Tuesday. That means I should spend at least two hours attending the weekly meeting in the office. Not that bad. However, the time left is mine. I went to the library. And on my way home , I had a good idea. I called my dad and mom,“Attention please, let me invite you to have dinner outside and see a film?”Soon, I got two happy answers, that’s good. We strolled around the west lake and said, wow how time flies! When I was a little girl, I even beg my parents to bring me to see the film every weekend. Now I can treat them and make them happy. We chose to see the latest martial arts blockbuster, The Myth.. My dad is Jackie chan’s fans, and I wonder South Korean actress Kim Hee-sun’s performance. My mom followed her husband and daughter, though falling asleep during the wonderful part. In the Myth, Jackie Chan plays two roles: First as an Indiana Jones type archeologist in the modern era and later playing an army general Mengyi back in the third century B.C. during China's Qing Dynasty. And Kim Hee-sun is the Korean princess Oksu who waits for the army general to return to her. The Myth is started from a dream of the archeologist, and ended like a dream too. Somebody is pursuing the weightless palace made of the aerolite, while somebody found love story. After all it’s a love story in the core with science fiction outside. An old theme for film but good for holiday, isn’t that?
